Sie Yin Poh

I was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and moved to London on my own for university. I wasn’t quite sure who I was or where I was heading but I knew I was determined to make it work. My parents built a life through hard work and quiet sacrifice. Watching their resilience shaped how I see the world and gave me deep respect for those who take risks without much support and keep going anyway. 

Over the first few years in London, I learned to adapt quickly, figure things out and keep moving even when nothing felt certain. That mindset still shapes how I support founders today. It’s something I’ve carried through years of working closely with early-stage founders.

At Systemiq Capital, we focus on supporting founders that are redefining the physical economy be it across electrification, decoding nature or applied AI. I also spend a lot of time delving deep into the physical AI world so feel free to hit me up if you are building in any of these spaces!
