Jessica Stewart

I’ve always been fascinated by human stories – it’s what led me to study history, travel widely, and seek out how planet-scale changes impact local lives and landscapes. I grew up (quite literally) in gastro pubs run by my parents. Black Wednesday hit just as they were starting out, but through relentless hard work and resilience, they built a thriving business. They are role models to me and my sister – proof of what compassion, grit, and a can-do attitude can achieve.

I spent my formative professional years at McKinsey, learning how to tackle down big problems (and function on minimal sleep!). From there, I moved into strategy and commercial roles in food manufacturing before joining Systemiq. My superpower is getting things done – and I apply it across almost everything at the fund: from operations and investor relations to making sure the team and our portfolio have what they need to thrive. 

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me mid-triathlon or throwing myself into whatever thrill-seeking adventure my partner has planned next.
