My Dutch parents taught me early on that we all have a responsibility to help build a better world.

I believe that entrepreneurial innovation is the key to lasting change and that belief led me from the Netherlands to Yale, McKinsey, and an MBA at INSEAD, where I learned how global systems and companies operate. But I knew I wanted to be closer to where the actual change happened.

I spent the last decade in the London startup ecosystem, learning how to manage teams and scale rapidly at Uber UK and how to lead and fundraise as an early-stage COO at Elder, a healthcare marketplace.

In the last 5 years I combined my operator experience with VC roles at Europe’s leading Series A fund Creandum and at Norrsken VC, and personally making 15+ angel investments.

I have now crystallized my mission: backing the high-stakes innovations that the planet actually needs.
