Elena Guglielmini

Originally from northern Italy, I have always been curious about the world beyond my small hometown through languages, travel, and exploring different cultures. This curiosity led me to study German and Mandarin during my BA, complete my MSc in Chinese Studies at the University of Glasgow, spend time in China and Southeast Asia, and hike as many mountains as I could along the way. After living in six different countries, I’ve been calling the UK home for the past eight years.

True to the Italian stereotype, I love good food and enjoy cooking for friends and family, but my real passion is nature, the mountains, and any outdoor sport I can get my hands (or feet) on.

I joined Systemiq Capital as Operations Associate, supporting investor relations, communications, event planning, and team operations. I bring over six years of experience in relationship management and business development across financial services and tech, working closely with VC and PE funds across the UK and Europe. Most recently, I was a Relationship Manager at HSBC Innovation Banking, managing a portfolio of clients from emerging managers to established VC and mid-market PE firms.
